When “Dream Catchers for Abu$ed Children,” a group that helps and cares for children who have been victims of any kind of family violence, posted this boy’s story on Facebook, it made everyone cry.
This boy from Oklahoma was raised by his real parents. The child’s parents starved and abu$ed him for many years. He longed for the good times and happiness of his youth.
After neighbors called the police, the child was taken away from his real parents and put in the care of Sleep Catchers for Violent Children.
The organization’s volunteers quickly found a family that would adopt the boy and give him a normal life. When the boy learned that a new family had adopted him, he wrote them a letter outlining his expectations for his new home.
This Oklahoma boy or girl wants all of these things. We should always think of the children who have nothing when we think about how bad things are for us.
