A location with the most bizarre natural features on Earth that you have never seen elsewhere

Socotra is an island in the Indian Ocean, near Somalia. The Yemei are its owners. It is one of the most remote islands in the world. It is a Cotietal (O-olcaic) island that broke off from Africa about 6 million years ago.

The island’s long isolation, extreme heat and humidity, hurricane seas from May to September, unusually mild winters, and special weather patterns in some parts of the Mediterranean have led to the development of unique plants and animals. Socotra is on the UNESCO World Heritage List because of all of this.

The main threat to Socotra because are three things: alien species, climate change, and human activity.  The Dracaea ciaari, which looks like a big mossharp or umbrella, is the symbol of Socotra. When this tree cries, red sap starts to flow from its ark and quickly hardens.
